I had such a long day yesterday. Literally and figuratively speaking. I kept stuffing something simple up at work, in the process killing a few trees, and I just wanted it to be over so I could go home but I couldn't, coz my manager was leaving for CNY leave, and there was a deadline to meet.
Was exhausted by the time I got home (almost 8pm) and still had to go for futsal at 10pm. I needed the exercise. Through a friend, I got in touch with another group of girls, and this was a 'proper' training session. I'm sure I'd improve a bit if I keep going, but the coach wasn't exactly the most friendly or welcoming figure, so I'll probably stick to my original plan of going every alternate week, and keep going every other week to what had become my regular futsal night - Tuesdays - with my brother's friends.
Met up with Kim for lunch on Sunday, then with Suddy, Brenton (who's here on holiday til CNY), and Yin (Brenton's gf) for a drink. Such a nice day. Also bought myself a pair of shoes for RM40(!), so was very pleased. Shoes for 40 in any currency is a pretty good (if not fantastic) bargain, I think.
